Occasions that the videos or music need to be streamed to PC/Mac or Apple TV pop up very often nowadays, such as listening to music of iPhone on PC/Mac, and projecting a video to Apple TV. While under most circumstances, the streaming is failed due to the lack of free AirPlay server. AirPlay is a media controlling protocol developed by Apple Inc. to stream media between devices.
5KPlayer makes its debut to take care of the problem mentioned above. Developed with built-in AirPlay function, it is one of the few free programs that can turn PC/Mac into an AirPlay Server. With 5KPlayer, users can enjoy videos and music with better devices.
Official Clarification: Since Apple has strengthened the "sign & countersign" for AirPlay Bonjour protocol, 5KPlayer for Windows does not support movie/music AirPlay at present.
We have been working hard on AirPlay streaming to figure out a solution. Please stay with us and trust our dedication and efforts! AirPlay for Windows will be back soon!
Step 2: Set the setting of AirPlay of 5KPlayer, specify a name and password in Preferences, if you wish.
Step 3: If 5KPlayer acts as AirPlay sender, click the AirPlay button beside the progress bar or the right top of the window while the video or music is playing to activate AirPlay and to select the device to stream to and then you're good to go.
Please note that to successfully stream media, the AirPlay sender and receiver must share the same WiFi.
Once you begin to use 5KPlayer, it will surprise you all the way! It is a powerful and highly integrated UHD media player other than being the best free AirPlay server. It can play 4K even 5K video and music with high stability. It can also download videos from Facebook, Vimeo and other 300 websites with high speed and no quality loss. 5KPlayer will never disappoint you as an AirPlay server and UHD video player!
